Most Popular Baby Names

Naming a baby is one of the most important things a mother and father have to agree on. It's more than just a name, it's part of the child's personality as well and numerology allows us to take a deeper look into their names. Every year Social Security lists the Top 10 baby names and we have chosen the top five baby boy names of 2006. Read on to find out what each of the these names really mean.

1. Emily: The name Emily has been the most popular female name each year since 1996 and reflects drive and a pioneering spirit. Think of this name as having an aggressive, creative force. Positive Characteristics: Strength, originality, courage, imagination, creativity, confidence. Good for competitive, high-risk ventures. Quick Trip Home

I was so excited to get to go home for a few days over the weekend! I really enjoyed seeing my family before I took off on my summer travels. We did a lot of family things like mother daughter shopping, dinner at KT's favorite restaurant, grilling out, and sister movies! I loved every minute of it and wish I could be there more. I miss you all already.

Cows

My grandmother sent me this today. I thought it was pretty good:

Cows, The Constitution, and The Ten Commandments...

Cows - Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a single cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

The Constitution - They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart people, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The Ten Commandments - The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this:You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery", and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.

Busy Busy Bee

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in while. I've been super busy. Last weekend we had a unit compliance inspection (called a UCI) so that kept me quite busy. Saturday night I went to a Rockies game and then Sunday I had Big Brothers/ Big Sisters with my little, Tariah. (That's her to the left) It was so much fun. We played on those big blow up mazes, slides, and bouncy things. She is so adorable. Hopefully I will be her big next school year as well. I turned in my big research paper today on a cadet dating relationship survey my group did for one of our major's classes. It ended up being 47 pages long and has completely consumed my life for the last week straight. I also have a phone update. I got a new phone today (its PINK) and a new number. Because my old one had water damage, they couldn't fix it or turn it on, so I lost all my numbers. If you are interested in my new number email or IM me (I'm not throwing my number out on the web AKA stalkerville). I'd be more than happy to give it to you and also try to get all the ones I lost back. Only 2 weeks of school left where I have 3 papers and a presentation left to do this week, 2 tests next week, & then its finals time (I only have 4). I am counting down until I get to come home for a few days and then head off to France!!!
